Bhirdraeg: Bah, I can't even rely on those rotten pirates to pick these ripe oranges.
Yet if I leave them a day longer, they're like to fall from the boughs.
Mayhap you can grab a few for me. You're not afraid of a pesky hornet or two, are you?
Doing the Quest.
Well, at least he warned us about the hornets. Turn around, head down the hill and into the orchard on the slopes. There are five points you need to investigate.
Here's the thing, you have five orange trees to pick from but you only need three oranges. It stands to reason, then, that not every tree has hornets and how many hornets you fight depends on how lucky you are in your choosing. Now, as you can only do three I only know the outcomes of three trees, those are listed below. The other two trees may attack and may not, if you figure it out, please do leave a message in the comments.

Congratulations, you have your oranges. It is time to head back up that hill and report to Bhirdraeg. He will have this to say:
Bhirdraeg: Look at those lucious oranges brimming with nectar! They could drop any second! (Hand over the goods.)
Ah, ripe to perfection! How sweet it is!
If that lackadaisical lot of retired pirates comes down with scurvy, it'd serve them right!
It just goes to show you can't teach an old sea dog new tricks. You'd think the Admiral wold know that!
